Fred Atkins is the Chairman of the Board of Elders and has attended Trinity since 1994. He has served on the Trinity Board as Board Chair, Interim Board member and was the head of the 2003 Pastoral Search Committee. He and his wife Susannah have been involved in various levels of ministry including Youth, Prayer and small groups and are both licensed social workers with a calling to help people achieve wholeness. Fred also teaches middle school math and is particularly interested in reconciliation and mediation work.

   

Ross Queener has been attending Trinity since the fall of 1997. In his time at Trinity Ross has served on the Small Groups Commission, Church Leadership Nominating Committee, Management Team, and has been involved in new members training, and small group leaders' training. In 2005 Ross became an elder. Ross and his wife, Cindy, are on staff with the Campus Ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ and give leadership to the ministry here in NYC. They are raising their two daughters, Carin and Meg, on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. They hope, by God's grace, to live in NYC for the rest of their lives - it's the best place in the world to live!

   

 

Timothy Tien has attended Trinity since 2002. His involvement in church life since that time includes the worship ministry, couples' small groups, Bright Beginnings children's ministry, and the Elder Nominating Committee. His previous church ministry experience includes roles as a Sunday School teacher, youth minister, worship director, governing board member, deacon, and elder. He and his wife Alice have been married since 1995, and they they have two daughters and a son: Ellie, Gabi, and Theo.  Outside church and home, Tim has worked for four banks since 1989, and currently trades quantitative arbitrage strategies, as well as serving his condominium association as its treasurer.

   

James Leonard has been the Associate Pastor of Trinity since 2003 and he is the newest appointee to the Elder board (having joined in late 2010). James focuses on all things community including small groups, midsize groups, retreats, getaways, special events, Alpha, Men’s and Women’s Ministry, community outreach etc. He has been married to his wife Elizabeth since 2002 and they live in Brooklyn with two cats (Tobias and Queen Ann Sassafras). James received his MDiv. At Alliance Theological Seminary and is now in the final stages of his DMin. At Fuller Theological Seminary.
