Biographies of Trustee Board
April 2010
Charles J. Nafie, Jr. (term expires April 2011)
Charles has been attending Trinity with his wife Kim since 2002. They have been graced with a wonderful daughter, Gabrielle, who is now two years old. His history of service at Trinity includes leadership in many endeavors created by the Administration and deacons. He currently manages Trinity’s softball team and is now working with a special committee overseeing the Trinity expansion for the trustees. Charles has been a practicing architect in New York City since 1996 in the firm he created in 1983.
Duane M. Smith (term expires April 2011)
Duane has been attending Trinity with his wife Linnie Golightly since 2005. They have two boys, Brian and Andre. His history of service at Trinity includes two years in leadership of a small group for couples and participation for the past few months in the Counting Ministry. In the past at other churches, he has served as an usher and as a co-director (with Linnie) of a youth ministry; in his youth he served as conductor and member of a youth choir and on a pastoral nominating committee. Duane’s professional background is in medicine and medical administration in programs for the underserved. He has been directing and providing patient care in a hospital-based HIV primary care program for the past ten years. In addition, he has served on and as an officer of boards of a number of nonprofit organizations in the fields of public health and health care.
Chérie Schaible (term expires April 2012)
Chérie has been attending Trinity with her husband, Damian, since 2001. She and her husband have been involved in leading the youth group at Trinity for the past several years and they now also host a weekly Bible study for young professionals in their home. Chérie is a corporate lawyer specializing in finance and restructuring. She practiced with a large international law firm for five and half years and recently accepted a position as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at a Fortune 5 company. She is the General Counsel for two of her pro bono clients, Operation Dreamseed, Inc. and the Canadian Woman's Club of New York.
Eileen Dietrich (term expires April 2012)
Eileen has been attending Trinity since 2003. She has been involved in teaching a Sunday School class, teaching and leading a Tuesday night women’s group, serving in front door ministry, traveling abroad to initiate the relationship between Trinity and World Vision in Rwanda, mentoring teenagers, and serving on the board of trustees. Eileen is the Head of School at The Geneva School of Manhattan and an avid traveler and scuba diver. She has recently completed her doctoral work at Fordham University.
Kristin Healy (term expires April 2013)
Michael Moor (term expires April 2013)
Mike Moor has been attending Trinity since 1999 and became a member in 2000 after committing his life to our Lord, Jesus Christ. Mike has been active in Trinity’s Counting and Front Door Ministries. He is married to Jen, and has a new baby daughter, Alexandria Savannah. Mike grew up in Saudi Arabia, and in New York and graduated from Rennsselaer Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Management/Finance. Mike has worked on the New York Mercantile Exchange since graduating from college as an analyst and trader.
