A Note From Our
Family Ministry Director
Dear Parents & Caregivers,
As a parent raising boys in New York City, I am so grateful for the community the Lord has graciously provided us. My Trinity family has walked with me through so many difficult moments and has celebrated with me every new victory. We were created to live in community. Parenting is nearly impossible without it.
There is no greater joy than watching your kids grow in their knowledge and love of God! My hope is that every child who steps through our doors finds a welcoming place to explore their faith and come to understand how much their Heavenly Father loves them. I pray they discover a personal relationship with Jesus and feel assured that He is with them every day.
I place great importance on communication and transparency regarding all our interactions with your children. I hope to get to know you as well. Please feel free to contact me anytime – I would love to meet with you to provide information, support, guidance, and encouragement.
It is an honor to be with you on this journey.
Blessings,
Genille Perez

Family Ministry FAQ
How do I enroll my child in the Family Ministry?
Can I accompany my child in the classroom?
Yes. We understand that children need support when transitioning to a new environment. You can accompany your child as needed, and we can work with you to create a transition plan.
Can I enroll my child who has special needs?
Yes. We are committed to caring for children with special needs. Inform a staff person (or provide the information when you register online), and we will discuss any special instructions with class teachers. We will work with you to lay out a plan so that your child feels comfortable and cared for.
Where can I breastfeed my child?
We have a private and lockable room for nursing mothers upon request.
What if my child is sick?
For the well-being of all children and staff, we ask that you keep your child at home if they are sick. They can join us when they are symptom-free without medication for 24 hours.*
*Symptoms include fever of 100° or higher, vomiting, diarrhea, conjunctivitis or other eye infections, rash, open sores, nasal drainage that is green or yellow, sore throat, lice, cold, flu, or COVID.
Am I required to volunteer if my child participates in the Family Ministry program?
Volunteering isn’t required, but we encourage parents to volunteer once a quarter in their child’s class or age group. Volunteers are vital to our ministry, and we’ve seen incredible benefits for both parents and children when families get involved.
Do you have a summer camp or Vacation Bible School (VBS) program?
Yes. We host Trinity Summer Camp, also known as Vacation Bible School (VBS), each July. Check our website in early spring for summer dates and registration details.
Can my child be baptized?
We are happy to discuss our beliefs and approach to child baptism with you so that your child’s baptism is a sincere declaration of faith in Jesus that is based on a real understanding of the Gospel . Although we do not perform baby baptisms, we hold special baby dedication services throughout the year to celebrate and pray for your little one.
