Family Ministry

Your First Visit

We can’t wait to meet your family! Grab Your First Visit guide and let us know you’re coming by pre-registering your child.

Our Programs

We want to see every student rooted in their faith, growing in community, and making a difference with their lives.

Infants and Toddlers

Feeling safe, secure, and loved.

Our Infants & Toddlers program provides a warm and secure environment where little ones experience their first church interactions through play, stories, and songs. Our professional childcare staff tend to all the children’s needs, including naps, snacks, bottles, diaper changes, and more. An area for nursing mothers is available upon request.

Preschool & Kindergarten

Creating joy and belonging.

Our Preschool & Kindergarten program fosters joy through hands-on activities that introduce young children to God, Jesus, and the Bible through structured play, crafts, and worship songs. We guide them through captivating Bible stories designed to spark their curiosity and lay a solid foundation for their spiritual development. Our comforting routines provide a sense of security and consistency, making sure they know they belong here and in God’s story.

Elementary School

Becoming rooted in faith.

Our Elementary program features workshops where children explore key biblical themes and stories through various creative and immersive methods. We guide them on a journey to discover the deeper meaning behind Old and New Testament stories, building a foundation of faith as they learn and grow. Through activities like art, cooking, drama, games, and more, we make Bible-learning an exciting adventure fostering a lifelong love of God.

Middle School

Growing in spiritual community.

Our Middle School program is designed to deepen students’ faith and understanding of God’s love and purpose for their lives. As their world expands, we dive deeper into the truths of the Bible and create a place where social, emotional, and spiritual challenges are met with compassion and community. Through fun activities, special events, and meaningful conversations, we create an environment where middle schoolers build friendships, grow in their relationship with God, and navigate adolescence with confidence and support.

High School

Making a difference with their lives.

Our High school program is designed to help students grow in their faith, leadership, and commitment to following Jesus. We invite students into life-applicable lessons and discussions that incorporate Biblical teachings, find their identity in Christ, tackle issues of faith and doubt, develop strong community relationships, and engage in topics of spiritual and emotional well-being as they prepare for adulthood. We equip high schoolers with the tools they need to navigate life’s complexities with confidence and a strong foundation of faith.

Parents

Supporting parents on the journey.

Our Parenting program creates a collaborative environment where parents and the church community unite to nurture faith. We offer various resources to support you like seasonal classes and events designed to foster family bonding and create shared experiences. These events provide opportunities to connect with other parents, gain valuable insights, and receive encouragement as you guide your children in their walk with Christ.

A Note From Our

Family Ministry Director

Dear Parents & Caregivers,

As a parent raising boys in New York City, I am so grateful for the community the Lord has graciously provided us. My Trinity family has walked with me through so many difficult moments and has celebrated with me every new victory. We were created to live in community. Parenting is nearly impossible without it.

There is no greater joy than watching your kids grow in their knowledge and love of God! My hope is that every child who steps through our doors finds a welcoming place to explore their faith and come to understand how much their Heavenly Father loves them. I pray they discover a personal relationship with Jesus and feel assured that He is with them every day.

I place great importance on communication and transparency regarding all our interactions with your children. I hope to get to know you as well. Please feel free to contact me anytime – I would love to meet with you to provide information, support, guidance, and encouragement.

It is an honor to be with you on this journey.
Blessings,
Genille Perez

Family Ministry FAQ

How do I enroll my child in the Family Ministry?
Find these details and more in Your First Visit Guide
Can I accompany my child in the classroom?

Yes. We understand that children need support when transitioning to a new environment. You can accompany your child as needed, and we can work with you to create a transition plan.

Can I enroll my child who has special needs?

Yes. We are committed to caring for children with special needs. Inform a staff person (or provide the information when you register online), and we will discuss any special instructions with class teachers. We will work with you to lay out a plan so that your child feels comfortable and cared for.

Where can I breastfeed my child?

We have a private and lockable room for nursing mothers upon request.

What if my child is sick?

For the well-being of all children and staff, we ask that you keep your child at home if they are sick. They can join us when they are symptom-free without medication for 24 hours.*

*Symptoms include fever of 100° or higher, vomiting, diarrhea, conjunctivitis or other eye infections, rash, open sores, nasal drainage that is green or yellow, sore throat, lice, cold, flu, or COVID.

Am I required to volunteer if my child participates in the Family Ministry program?

Volunteering isn’t required, but we encourage parents to volunteer once a quarter in their child’s class or age group. Volunteers are vital to our ministry, and we’ve seen incredible benefits for both parents and children when families get involved.

Do you have a summer camp or Vacation Bible School (VBS) program?

Yes. We host Trinity Summer Camp, also known as Vacation Bible School (VBS), each July. Check our website in early spring for summer dates and registration details.

Can my child be baptized?

We are happy to discuss our beliefs and approach to child baptism with you so that your child’s baptism is a sincere declaration of faith in Jesus that is based on a real understanding of the Gospel . Although we do not perform baby baptisms, we hold special baby dedication services throughout the year to celebrate and pray for your little one.
