Summer Camp FAQ
Is Trinity Summer Camp only for children from Christian families?
While our program has a Christian focus, Camp is for everyone! We thoughtfully present Bible stories and themes to spark love and joy. Our desire is that children from all backgrounds and faith traditions feel welcomed and included.
What should my child bring to Camp?
Before Camp, you will receive an email that will include a list of items to bring (or not bring) along with medical, liability, and photo release forms that require signatures.
Will lunch be provided?
Lunch is not provided. We ask that each child bring a bagged lunch. Our program does provide a fun, themed snack every day.
Do I need to stay with my child during Camp?
You do not need to stay with your child (but we welcome parent volunteers!). Camp is designed to provide a safe and engaging environment for children while parents have the opportunity to take care of other responsibilities or enjoy some free time. A prompt pick-up at the close of the day is important.
Can children with special needs participate in Camp?
We strive to be inclusive and accommodate children with special needs. Parents can discuss any specific accommodations or support their child may need with us beforehand.
Please note: Our building is historic and does have stairs from the entrance into other areas.
Will my child be safe at Camp?
Safety is a top priority at Trinity. We have safety protocols in place, including background checks for volunteers, supervision during activities, and emergency procedures.
You can view our safety policies here: Family Ministry Safety Policies
Thanks so much for your enthusiasm!
We’re currently at capacity for volunteers and so grateful for the incredible response. This section remains here to celebrate the many ways our church family steps in to serve, and to show how valuable each role is in making camp happen.
